Kerry Mimberg, PT, MPT
Kerry is a seasoned Physical Therapist whose experience includes treating hospital orthopedic patients and providing rehabilitative outpatient care at private practices. Kerry brings a thoughtful, comprehensive approach to working with her patients, being mindful of all systems of the human body in addition to the physical aspect of healing. She believes in partnering with her patients to help them achieve their best potential function as they recover from injuries or surgery.
She has completed two levels of training to offer her patients relief from pain through Trigger Point Dry Needling and is an expert at casting custom orthotics. Prior to co-founding Optimal Physical Therapy, Kerry served patients with traumatic orthopedic conditions at Walter Reed Army Medical Center for five years. She also worked in outpatient care at NovaCare and The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics.
Kerry earned her Master of Physical Therapy degree at the University of St. Augustine in Florida and received her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Maryland. Kerry is fluent in Spanish and is from Mountain Lakes, New Jersey. In her free time, Kerry enjoys traveling and being with her dog Riley outdoors.
